All Township Operating Departments Will be Closed for Business.
If your regular refuse and recycling day is Friday, please place your refuse items only at the curb for collection on Monday, April 6.
Recyclables will be collected the following week on their regular collection day.
In addition to the Good Friday holiday, the Free Library of Springfield Township will also be closed on Sunday, April 8.

Celebrate Arbor Day with the Springfield Township Shade Tree Commission
Come out and celebrate Arbor Day with the Springfield Township Shade Tree Commission!
Your local Shade Tree Commission will be hosting a tree workshop on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Cisco Park. This year's workshop will focus on proper tree pruning methods as demonstrated by certified arborist Jordon Max. The workshop will begin at 9:30 AM with a tree planting ceremony.
Each registered participant will receive one free tree (5 gallon size) to plant at their home compliments of the Board of Commissioners of Springfield Township.
This workshop is limited to the first 25 Springfield Township housholds. Pre-registration is required by Friday, April 27 at 4:00PM. Contact the Township receptionist at 215-836-7600 or mailto:MKass@springfieldmontco.org to register.
