Construction to Begin July 17 on $9.5 Million Project to Repair and Resurface 37 Miles of State Highway in Montgomery County
King of Prussia – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that construction is scheduled to begin Sunday night, July 17 on a $9.5 million project resurface 37 miles of state highway in Montgomery County. The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2012

Projects in the Township include:
• Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) between Philmont Avenue/Welsh Road and County Line Road in Lower Moreland Township and Bryn Athyn Borough;
• Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) Jug Handles between Welsh Road and Moreland Road in Abington and Lower Moreland townships;
In addition, new ADA curbs ramps will be built along the following state roads:
• Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and County Line Road in Lower Moreland and Upper Southampton townships, and Bryn Athyn Borough;
• Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) Jug Handles between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Moreland Road in Lower Moreland Township;
